The Computerist – My Story
Hey there! I’m The Computerist, your guide through the worlds of tech, digital marketing, and investing. My interest in the tech field dates back to my high school days when I stumbled upon a love for computer science. Although life led me down paths over the years it eventually brought me back full circle a few years ago when I enrolled in a computer science university degree to delve deeper into that initial spark of passion.
In 2018 during my travels around the globe I sought a means to sustain my lifestyle and keep discovering destinations. I came across digital marketing and learned the ins and outs of it on my own. I realized that though there is a huge amount of information available on the internet, it’s often fragmented and few resources divulge the true secrets of the industry. Through perseverance and learning from mistakes I established a thriving digital marketing business. Today I assist customers around the globe, from the United Kingdom to Singapore and Australia, in enhancing their visibility through website optimization and boosting their online presence by managing PPC campaigns and leveraging SEO strategies.
Sure thing is that it wasn’t a breeze all the way through! I had a tough experience with my first investment: my dad, well-meaning as he was, encouraged me to get into something I didn’t understand that turned out to be a poor investment choice, and I ended up losing a lot. That experience really hit home and taught me a lesson; I made up my mind to only put my money into things I have a solid understanding of. From that point on I took it upon myself to dive into the world of investing, exploring everything, from stocks and options to real estate. Now I handle my investments and am working towards my financial goal – achieving financial freedom.
My goal in creating The Computerist is to ensure that everyone can access this wealth of knowledge available here on this platform. It is my aspiration that through this platform you will find the empowerment you seek—whether you’re delving into the realm of technology for the first time or interested in pursuing a career in digital marketing or striving towards achieving financial independence. My intention is to share my learnings with you as I journey forward to assist you in making informed decisions and perhaps steer clear of some of the obstacles I have faced myself.
